"BLACK AND WHITE"
©2006 Independently Released
Review by Lucky Boyd

Fully capable of pulling off an acoustic tune is evidenced a couple of times on this album, but make no mistake; Redneck Jedi is a full out rock and roll band. Their Texas brand of rock is not devoid of influence. You'll hear hints of inspiration from George Thorogood with the heaviest being on "Lost It All." Other influences include current rock acts and classic rock masters. Their blend of influences has created a distinct sound and a loyal fan base. Hailing from the Hill Country, Redneck Jedi is soon to follow the accolades of this disc to all corners of the state. "Prison Break" is a rock and roll screamer that is destined to be a honky-tonk favorite as it has the slightest thread of two-step-ability. Great guitar work and excellent vocals along with mature and professional arrangements make this more than just another college campus play-it-loud album. This one has merit with lyrics that matter and just enough diversity to intrigue fans and solicit newcomers to the foal. This album allows you to experience Redneck Jedi as they perform a personal concert just for you. You'll feel special without getting lonely. Get it today.
